Biography
Still We Rise is a five piece alternative/post hardcore band from Orlando, Florida, not only working to make a name for themselves but also to bring a change to the music industry. With a diverse background in composition and performance the members create a sound not only powerful but inspiring, capturing the thoughts and emotions that burden us all as we aspire to who we want to be. With their catchy melodies, intricate guitar riffs, and captivating lyrics they hope to attract an audience that has many different musical preferences. Despite the absence of heavier music playing on the radio, the members aspire to hear their songs air one day and plan to do whatever it takes to accomplish that. While writing and performing non-stop the band prepares to hit the studio early 2012 to record their first EP titled From Our Own Ashes. With the completion of their CD they plan to follow their ambition and pursue the dreams they see in front of them.
