Summer People are a rock & roll band from Binghamton, NY. Since forming in 2010, they've written and released two full-length records and a split EP. Summer People have shared the stage with artists including Joe Lally, Pygmy Lush, Tera Melos, and Kayo Dot, and toured the states with friends in HotChaCha, Aficionado, Porches, and Zlam Dunk in addition to playing festivals such as CMJ, SXSW, and The Foburg Music Fest in New Orleans.
Summer People's music has been described as "punk rock meets lounge-side crooner on a twisted bender from hell," incorporating "painfully beautiful blues, erratic punk, and even rhythm-heavy salsa, recalling traces of the Cramps with a Nick Cave delivery."
