Biography
Behind the Sunix project stands one of the greatest talents from Israel – Lior Lahav, that known for his outstanding psychedelic trance project "Solar System", which was voted one of the top100 DJs in 2008 by dj magazine.
Lior Lahav has started his career at the age of 18; he started releasing dozens tracks on major record labels, and DJ'ing as Solar System at the biggest parties and festivals worldwide with his live performances. Nowadays he has three music projects, including Sunix – the refreshing and unique Progressive Trance project
Lior Lahav in Nahariyya, Israel in 1982; he started his professional career in 2000 and soon he started making waves as a psy trance artist and gained respect in the scene through his performances both in studio and when playing as dj.
After years of producing professional electronic music and traveling the world, in 2008 he started his second music project under his real name with Uplifting trance, Progressive House and Tech-House. In short time, the top DJ's in the world like Paul Oakenfold, Marcus Shulz, BT, Marcus Shulz, Judge Jules, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor, Ferry Corsten supported and played his music.
Progressive Trance music was never something strange to Lahav, for many years he felt connected, loved the genre, and wanted to bring something new to it. He finally did it on 2011 when he created the 'Sunix' project. Although Lahav went more toward the slower, his progressive project sounds groovier, deeper and it works massively on the dance floor.
However, it was not the first time he was experienced with the genre, in 2006, he released his first Progressive Trance track with Aerospace "War Zone" that was released by Spintwist Records on Aerospace's 'Elevation' album. Then in 2010 on Solar System – Must Be The Music album, that was published on one of the biggest psy trance label Spun Records, he released his track "Holy Glow" and received praise from his fans.
On October 8 2011, Sunix released his debut EP 'Sunset' on Prog On Syndicate Records, an international Progreesive Trance label which is owned by the esteemed artist - Querox. This project seems to be very busy this year with lots of killer music, interesting collaborations, unique releases and gigs around the world like Brazil, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany and many more.
