Biography
SUPER JUNIOR-M (슈퍼주니어-M), short for SUPER JUNIOR-MANDARIN, is the third subunit of the boy group SUPER JUNIOR, composed of members Sungmin, Eunhyuk (은혁), Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun (조규현) and special member Zhou Mi (周觅). Originally a seven-member group, Han Geng (韩庚) left Super Junior on December, 2009. After a year-long hiatus, the group returned with additional Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Sungmin. In April 2018, special member Henry left the sub-unit following his contract expiration with SM.
They made their debut on April 23, 2008, with single "U" and studio album 迷 (Me).
The sub-unit is known as the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent. Aside from their original songs, Super Junior-M rerecorded some of Super Junior songs in mandarim.
