Biography
Surecut Kids are a walking house party. Making people have fun and dance is what we do best.
We work as a team, layering songs, scratching and creating live remixes on the fly. With four turntables and an MPC at our disposal, it’s a very energetic show and we try to never have a dull moment.
Our shows are a journey through all sorts of party music. We won’t bore you with genres here but believe us when we say it could be anything!
In recent times we have had the opportunity to get sunburnt at some major festivals such as Parklife, Summafieldayze, Future Music Festival, BBQ Breaks, The Pro Show, Killer Breaks, Round & Round, and Wonderland.
These opportunities have seen us share the stage (and the rider) with some incredible Djs and bands. Heres a few of the most memorable ones: A-Trak, Diplo, Dizzee Rascall, MIA, Vanilla Ice, XXXChange, Pase Rock, 2Many Djs, Justice, Ugly Duckling, Dj Craze, Blackalicious, Scratch Perverts, Lyrics Born, Dj Yoda, Russell from the Bloc Party, Chemical Brothers, The Black Seeds, The Sounds, Busy P, Midnight Juggernauts, Ajax, Muscles, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Winnie Coopers (yeah boys!), Purple Sneakers Djs, Tom Thumb and many more.
We have also made the trek to perform shows in Kuala Lumpur, Papua New Guinea, Bali, all around Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and many other places in between.
Whether it’s a summer festival or a small gathering of friends we try to bring the heat like our lives depend on it. So when you see us on the lineup you’ll know we will be making people party like its, yep… 1999 again.
