New York based drummer and percussionist Susie Ibarra has worked in a wide variety of contexts, from free jazz to improvisational ensembles incorporating gamelan, electronics, and other diverse elements. She has worked with David S. Ware, Matthew Shipp, William Parker, and Assif Tsashar among many others. She has her own trio, the Susie Ibarra Trio.
