Biography
Inspired by the blues, Susie Wilkins started writing songs at the tender age of 14, and debuted at the Hong Kong Fringe Club's Open Mic Night when only 16. Her impressive vocal talent and maturity as a performer garnered rave reviews, and she quickly established herself as a dominant force on the Hong Kong music scene. Eventually, the allure of a new challenge brought her back to London, where she became a regular favourite at world-famous venues such the Borderline and the Troubadour, generating a passionate and loyal following.
Susie was picked up at the end of 2007 by major music manager Mike Maska. She completed a European tour supporting Joe Jackson at the beginning of 2008, playing venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire and The Paradiso in Amsterdam. Susie is currently working on material for a new album, and will be going to the States later this year to record with Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Hole).
