There are several bands with this name
*One group was formed in Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA in the late 1990s and performed mostly around the local area. Members include Eric Sterrit - Vocals, Guitar, Caruso - Bass, & Tyler Crew - Drums. Their song Shopping Cart was covered by many other local bands.
*Another Switchstance was formed in the winter of 2000 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The style's mainly Ska, Punk and Hardcore in one. Most of the members are not very good musicians. As many people say the most important thing of making music is to "enjoy it" for sure they stand behind those words. In the beginning Switchstance was only four-member band. The current line-up consists:

Иван - guitar, vocals
Кемпето - guitar
Живко - trombone, vocals
Владо - trumpet, vocals.

There are more Bands with the same name. Another Band called "Switchstance" comes from Switzerland. They were formed in 1997 under the name of "United Mushrooms". In 1999 they changed their name into "Switchstance". Untill their breakup in 2007 they played melodic punk à la Satanic Surfers, Lagwagon, NOFX, Belvedere… They recorded 2 Demo-Cds, 2 EPs and appeared on different Compilations like on the magazine-compilation of the "Skratch Magazine" or the "RealRocker Magazine". Their last EP was a "Goodbyerecord" called "That's it, folks… We're done".
