supposedly they announced that they were disbanding right after the release of the first album and thyme went on to have a solo career by herself.

«I'll be back» is amazing song. Though the main riff reminds me «Veronicas - 4ever».

the THYME I'm listening to is a 60ies Garage Band: Another act from promoter Jeep Holland's A² Productions stable -- which also gave rise to local legends the Rationals and SRC -- Ann Arbor, Michigan-based pop-rockers the Thyme comprised vocalist Steve Van Den Berg, guitarist Ralph Cole, bassist Alan Wilmot and drummer Eddy. Formed across the state in Kalamazoo, the group was originally dubbed the Hitch-Hikers, and under that name issued a pair of singles -- "Someday Baby" and "You're the One" -- during the mid-'60s; upon relocating to Ann Arbor circa 1967, they rechristened themselves the Thyme and became the steady house band at the local Fifth Dimension club, also appearing frequently at the famed Grande Ballroom. In sum the Thyme recorded three more singles, among them covers of the Zombies' "Time of the Season" as well as Neil Diamond's "Love to Love," before disbanding in 1969 when Cole exited to join Lighthouse.

Seriously, all of their songs sound great...I'm surprised they aren't more popular

Currently really liking Fly Away, The Last Day, Seiten (晴天) :) Not so impressed with 'forever we can make it' though. I know the focus is on the vocals of Thyme herself, but was wondering if her band members will do some backup vocal singing in the new single (due December) since it might be nice to have variation. Veltpunch certainly do this really well (they're more rock than pop).
