TJ Monterde was born on December 30, 1989, in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, He is an award-winning Filipino singer-songwriter with over a decade of his musical career. He is hailed as one of the most streamed male OPM artists on Spotify, having released hits such as “Tulad Mo”, “Dating Tayo”, “Mahika”, “Ikaw At Ako” and “Palagi.”
A storyteller at heart, TJ Monterde weaves his listeners into his music with endearing tunes and heartfelt songwriting. His music is not just a collection of songs, but an intimate conversation with his audience. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and common stories, TJ’s music is an anecdote to life–whether good or ugly, all made with sincerity.
