Biography
TV Babysitter started in 2006 in Allentown, PA, where Mike Kurtz, Matt Katz, Justin Mayfield and Jordan Miller decided to start a synth-driven experimental rock group. TV Babysitter. The band recognizes the Flaming Lips, Muse, Radiohead and David Bowie as influences; the impact of these predecessors can be heard in TV Babysitter's liberal use of Theramin, synthesizers, and oddball effects. TV Babysitter plays frequently in Allentown, Philadelphia and New York City.
