Biography
Talamasca is a psytrance project born in Paris, France. Cedric Dassulle, also known as DJ Lestat is the creator, using his solo project as a promoter of Talamasca sounds. Played piano for a lot of years and started as a dj. In 1995/96 he was resident DJ in Rex Club in Paris which triggered him to start creating trance music of his own. In 1996 he met the other cofounders Steve Eli and Xavier de Galloy that were at that time House producers and had their own music studio. Together they founded Talamasca.
Lestat produced many successful tracks with artists like Nomad, Space Cat, and Xerox.
One of Talamasca's most recent albums, Zodiac, was released in 2003 and gained great popularity among Psychedelic Trance fans. The album consists of 12 tracks, each of them named after a different Zodiac sign.
In 2004, Talamasca created a new label "Mind Control Records", based in Paris.
