Biography

Tam Ca Đông Phương (a.k.a. The Eastern Trio) was a trio that was founded in 1970 in Saigon, Vietnam. It consisted of Tuyết Hằng, Thu Hà and Hồng Vân, accompanied by the two musicians Hùng Lân and Hồ Đăng Tín.

They gave nightly performances in the Saigon tea houses Đêm Màu Hồng, Maxim's and Queen Bee. In 1972, the composer Phạm Trọng Cầu started composing harmonies for the group. The group disbanded in 1975.
