His compositions demonstrate both a lack of any deep formal music training - as well as a complete disregard for that lack.
While the work tends to work at the edges of abstract soundscapes, the composer insists his intent is primarily to make songs that resonate emotionally for himself, though also in the hopes someone else may respond in a meaningful way, as well.
The work is never formal or polished, and often flirts at the edges of what might be commonly thought of as music… but otherwise there is little consistency between one spate of tracks and a different one. While some tracks are ambient dirges, others are upbeat and - however remotely - contain echoes of ragtime.
