Biography
Tartarus Hymn is a progressive death metal band out of the United states of America. Their sound is a mix between several different genres of metal. The band currently consists of three members including guitarist Travis Edlund, Guitarist Tyler Herman, and Drummer Garrett Pennebaker. The band has been playing together since 2008and has just recently began recording their first full length album " Yawning Void of Chaos" The drum tracks that are heard have been created using a PC however live drums are used in shows and on tour. All the songs you hear have been recorded with minimal equipment as the band is just now as of early 2010 beginning to get into the studio to record thier album. The band is currently not signed. All vocals are done by Travis Edlund and Tyler Herman. Influences include "Every thing that is or has ever been metal and the stories they have told" according to the band.
