Biography

Tatiana Vladimirovna Chebanova (Russian: Татьяна Владимировна Шебанова) is a Soviet and Russian and Polish pianist, born January 12, 1953 in Moscow and died on March 1, 2011 in Warsaw.

After obtaining a second prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1980, she led an international concert career.

She resided for a long time in Poland, teaching at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and regularly giving master classes.

She has recorded Chopin, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Feinberg, Debussy, Szymanowski and Zarzycki for major labels as RCA Victor, Melodia, Muza, CBS Sony, EMI, Pony-Canyon, Dux.
Her discography includes about fifty CD.
