A sunny and insistent singer/songwriter grounded in country yet leaning toward pop in a manner not dissimilar to Taylor Swift, Taylor Edwards has carved out a space in Nashville for herself through steady, often clever work. Early in her career, Edwards took every gig that came her way – she sang on prime-time soaps and played talent competitions – yet by the 2020s, she'd refined her music and embraced the possibilities of social media. Her first big break arrived when “Call Your Sister,” a song dedicated to her much younger sister, went viral in 2021, setting the stage for Edwards to deliver a series of mood-based EPs throughout 2023.
