TE RUKI, (translated as "The Night" in the language Tuamotu), is a tribal Black Metal band founded in 2017 by Aroma, Tamatoa, Tauahinui, Marania, and Seiji. The Tuamotu islands, also known as the “lands from the open seas”, are located in the South Pacific. The “Mana” of TE RUKI comes from the earth, seas, winds, the moon, and the pride of its people armed in the name of their gods: Oro, Ruahatu, and Tohitika.
