Biography
Tea Tairović (Serbian Cyrillic: Tea Таировић; born 4 April 1996) is a Serbian singer and songwriter. Born in Novi Sad, she rose to prominence as a contestant on Zvezde Granda.
Tairović rose to more significant popularity upon the release of the singles "Hajde", "Igračica" and "Na jednu noć" on 15 October 2021. "Hajde", which was co-written by Tairović and Sanja Vučić, and "Na jednu noć" entered on the newly established Billboard's Croatia Songs chart. The music video for "Hajde" has also collected over 90 million views on YouTube. On 21 May 2022, she independently released her debut album, Balkanija. It featured tracks "Dva i dva" and "Dubai", which respectively peaked at numbers 7 and 17 on Billboard Croatia chart. All nine accompanying music videos from the album have collectively amassed close to 280 million views on YouTube, as of February 2023.
Her second album, Balerina, was released on 16 May the following year. It included stand-out hits like the title track featuring rapper Voyage, "Izrael i Palestina", "Bibi Habibi" and "Da si najbolji", which all simultaneously reached the top-25 on Billboard Croatia. Balerina also entered the official album charts in Austria and Switzerland, peaking at numbers 17 and 79, respectively. On June 17, Tairović held her first major solo concert at the Tašmajdan Stadium in Belgrade which was attended by more than 10,000 people. The live show featured guest performances from singer Sanja Vučić and Bulgarian singer Galena, who featured Tairović on her single "Abracadabra".
