Biography
Tears to Embers, was started by two brothers Brandon and Matt Hicks in 2005 with fellow musician Mike Strunk. Originally known under another name they quickly changed to the Tears to Embers we know now. Through the first few years the band went through many members and met friends through other bands. In the summer of 2011 the band met drummer Frank West and the main 4 piece line up was born. The band started gaining traction and signed a development deal with MAKE Records in 2013. At the beginning of 2014 the band had one final line up change with the departure of good friend Mike Strunk from guitar and the addition of Brent Goad on bass and David Keith on guitar with Co-Founder Matt Hicks moving to guitar as well, making the band a 5 piece for the first time. The band is currently working on their first studio album with MAKE. Set to release Spring of 2015 with their first single "Still and Cold" leading the way.
