This track appears by the name Calls Triggering on the album Untitled (ten) by Social Interiors . Tegan Northwood was asked by the group to help plunder and sample albums from the Extreme catalog, for a 10th Anniversary album for the label. She contributed two "cut-up" tracks to this album, the other being Potrat.

Tegan decided to use the track on her own CD Self-Raising Flower (2000) with the permission of Social Interiors and Extreme, but decided to use her own title of "Fire In A Far Place" (unknown to Social Interiors at the time of the completion of the Anniversary album).

The track predominantly features many samples from the Pablo's Eye album You Love Chinese Food as well as other Extreme artists.
