Biography
TenDaysFromNow ( aka - TDFN ) was a band started in Memphis, TN in 1998. We were influenced by all of the bands we eventually shared a stage with: JimmyEatWorld, Braid, Get Up Kids, Mineral, Gloria Record, Compound Red, JeJune, Jets To Brazil, Juliana Theory, Jawbox, No Knife, etc.
As it turns out, we were also the only striving emo/indie band in Memphis, TN at a time when everyone else were hardcore bands and punk rock bands. We did have a very loyal following, but we also had to put up with a lot of crap from musicians who didn't understand why we wanted to play our style of music. Now, we hear questions about why we ever quit playing…go figure!
I'm sure that one day, TDFN will reform and take on an even larger audience.
