Tereskova is a hungarian alternative pop/rock band formed by 3 girls. The band is named after a soviet cosmonaut Valentyina Tereskove who was the first woman in space. They formed in 1989, at Budapest. Tereskova is also the stage name of the lead singer Nagy Krisztina who is also a well known painter and performer.
