Terry Blade is an American singer-songwriter based in Chicago, Illinois. In 2020, he was nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award. A year later, his debut album "American Descendant of Slavery, the Album" was named in the Archives of African American Music & Culture's February 2021 Black Music Releases of Note alongside R&B and Soul releases by Jose James, Joshua Henry, Kelly Rowland, Nat Turner Rebellion, Pink Sweats, The Chi-Lites, The Jacksons, and Trippie Redd. The album received an accolade from Something Else Reviews, which named it second on its "Best of 2021 Rock, Pop and R&B"–a list that also included albums by Alan Clark, Joseph Williams, Peter Frampton, Tony Kaye, and Yes.
His 2023 American Roots single "Won't Be Around" entered the Spotify Local Pulse Charts for New York City and Houston. He is a two-time gold medalist at the Global Music Awards; a two-time winner at the International Music Video Awards; and a three-time winner at the LIT Talent Awards.
