Biography
Terry Philips (real name: Philip Teitelbaum) was a Brooklyn, NY, United States-born musician, singer, songwriter and producer. He was also the founder and director of Pickwick City Records, a subsidiary of Pickwick International, Inc. His division at Pickwick was named Lee Harridan Productions. He also worked for Showcase Records, another Pickwick sublabel.
Philips was founder as well of TPI Records and Terry Philips, Inc., and former president of Perception Records. His involvement for productions expands over the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, including the pop, rock, soul, funk and jazz genres for various artist such as Lou Reed, Gene Pitney, Dion, Golden Earring, Dizzy Gillespie, Larry Young, Nythjar, Xavier and others.
