Jevon Jones born in Dallas, Texas is a rapper best known as Tha Realest and formerly Tenkamenin The Vigilante. He was formerly signed to Suge Knight's Death Row Records label. He is known for having a remarkably similar voice to that of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur. Songs of his have been mistaken for Tupac songs, even to the point of being used as 'evidence' that Shakur faked his death.
Jones signed to Death Row Records in 1996. He appeared on the soundtrack to film Gang Related under the name Tenkamenin (taken from an African king. In 1999 he appeared on Chronic 2000, alongside fellow Death Row rappers Swoop G and Lil C-Style. He would team up with them again on Death Row's Too Gangsta 4 Radio compilation, on the tracks Fuck Dre and Fuck Hollywood.
Witness Tha Realest dropped in 2009 on Team Dime/RBC Records with features that include Fat Joe, EDI From Tha Outlawz, Crooked I, Ray J, W.C, J Valentine, Dyson, Yukmouth and many many more
