In a sudden spasm of unfettered musicality, The Action Cats have released two frantically melodic EPs; played every L.A.-area venue that would have them (from coffee shops and record stores to the House of Blues and Troubadour); and opened for everyone from The Raveonettes and Yardbirds to Berlin. They topped Amoeba Music's “Independent Local Top 10” for weeks and played the store's first ever showcase at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip.
