Biography
From the ashes of the punk band Crisis Point comes a unique sound in the SKA genre. The Action League, from San Luis Obispo re-assembled with Drummer Milez and Bassist Smitty to piece together a project that would soon get the central coast of California moving. Recruiting Guitarist Andy "D" from the Las Vegas SKA scene to upbeat that temp and the melodic sounds from the local Cal Poly marching and jazz bands, Mike Vallone, Phill Takahashi, and Kyle Smith. Shortly after Mat Pinto who had come from the Central Valley punk scene had been added to vocals to give the band a more raw and punchy edge. The Action League quickly became known as the central coasts very own only SKA band jumping on locally known comp.'s and opening up for artists pouring through the central coast such as The Aggrolites, Buck-O-Nine, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The English Beat just to name a few. Now the band is looking to start getting their name outside of their own county and jump into bigger and better things aiming for a more broadened fan base….
