nah Madlib's discog, even shortened to just the basic stuff, is still better than Alc's whole catalog. Madlib is way more inventive, creative, diverse, interesting, etc. no 2 Madlib projects sound the same which is smt I cannot say about Alchemist. madlib isn't even my fav either but he's def better than Alc

yeah he probably isnt even top 10 the more i think about it. Madlib, Dilla, DOOM, Ye, Peggy, RZA, Knx, August Fanon, Elucid, etc. I think Alc is the most consistent tho, every single album of his is just as good as the last which is smt that can be said about none of the other guys

People love to pick the rapper of the year, but they hardly ever talk about the best producer. At the end of 2023, I was thinking Conductor Williams was a solid choice, but damn, as long as Alс is in the game, no one can touch him. He was everywhere last year and, as always, he showed the highest level of skill.
