The Ambiguity is Charlie Broderick creating ambient and drone music. Born in Russia, raised primarily in Midwest America, Broderick started creating music in 2012 and joined Melbourne-based Artist Collective 'Electronomicon' in 2014 with an appearance on "Future Imperfect" and has been featured in many of the group's compilation projects. Later that year marked his netlabel debut on French imprint Dhatura Records. Broderick has floated from beat-based electronic music, through digitally arranged ambient, to noisy guitar-based drones. In addition to self-released work, Broderick has compilation appearances and releases on a variety of labels and netlabels such as E-Con Records, Cavern Brew Records, Cellar Door Tapes, and others. Broderick's music is informed by many of the genre's staples, as well as his time around the Iowa City music community and subsequent time in the Hudson Valley.
