Biography
There are at least two bands to have recorded under the name of The Americas.
1. An indie rock duo from Northern California formed in 2000 by Travis Wuerthner (vocals, guitar) and Casey Deitz (drums). Casey is also a member of The Velvet Teen.
2. An instrumental world music group.
