Biography
The Amorous was a band from the Phoenix area with original members Kirk Ferguson (Bass), Richie Foreman (guitar), Michael Divine (Drums), and Douglas Roberts (guitar). Later newer members joined including Eric Guzman (bass), Josh Montgomery (Vocals), Cameron Montgomery (Guitar), Mitchell Orr (Guitar), and Kyle Rodgers (Drums).
History
The Amorous began in January 2008 with Richie Foreman, Michael Divine, and Doug Roberts. The self-released CD "All About Love" was recorded, mixed, and mastered by future band member Mitchell Orr. The EP was released on June 30th, 2008.
After the release of "All About Love," the majority of the band decided to pursue other things with life and The Amorous was reformed with new members. On March 10, 2009, The Amorous released their second EP, entitled "The Brand New Dance". The EP was produced by Matt Grabe (The Maine, The Summer Set, A Rocket To The Moon). Around this time, the band added Cameron Montgomery.
The band has played with bands such as The Summer Set, Anarbor, We Shot The Moon, Brighten, Sherwood, This Century, This Providence, and Ace Enders & A Million Different People
After releasing singles throughout the year, the band officially disbanded in 2009.
