There are 2 bands with the name The Ashamed:
1. The Ashamed from Richland, Washington, USA play aggressive, angry, in your face, Thrash Punk. Originally named "On The Take", they changed their name to The Ashamed in 2006. The Ashamed's auditory assault is the antithesis to pop-punk songs about unicorns and rainbows, countering this with songs of disillusionment and social and economic criticism. This is straight up angry Thrash Punk!

James - Drums
The Ashamed's debut, self-titled, full-length album was released on Unrepentant Records in 2008.
2. The Ashamed wass a street punk band formed in 2009 in Pensacola, FL, USA. They claim to be "booze-fueled punk rock" and are currently on Black Sails Records. The current line-up is Mat Pathetic on Lead Guitar/Backup Vocals, Beav Ashamed on Lead Vocals, Jesse On Fire on Bass and Backup Vocals, and Mr. Carraway on the Drums.
In January of 2010, The original drummer, Jackass Will left the band to spend time with his fiance and new baby.
In March of 2010, Jesse On Fire was arrested and thrown in jail, and The Ashamed currently has Jeff Peacock from StickCityMafia filling in on Bass Duties.
The Ashamed (Pensacola) broke up in April of 2010.
