Biography
The Backrooms is a solo-project launched by William Thomas Palstra aka Thommygun/Willinator. Thom was born on the 7th of February, in the year 1991. He has lived in The Netherlands for his whole life. Due to the his Scottish roots, he has been influenced by bands such as; Arctic Monkeys, Kaiserchiefs and The Enemy. But also by bands as Mindless Self Indulgence, Uncle Outrage and Retard-O-Bot.
At the end of 2008, he decided that he wanted to make music too. So Thom decided to buy a guitar, and play some wicked tunes.
He started this project because he wanted to expand his horizon. Currently he only has a few instrumental demo's, which still need A LOT of work before the final product is there.
This project started early 2009. And is still ongoing.
