Biography
The Beams started in early 2005 by fellow University of Cape Town students, Amrik Cooper and Bosko Popovac through a common love of 80s British Rock (The Smiths, Stone Roses, Joy Division, etc…). After a few line up changes and a year of honing material and polishing their act, The Beams have hit Cape Town's live music venues, thrilling audiences with their infectious grooves.
