It's like after Revolution 9 with it's wackiness and makes you feel you can't handle it. This comes around and tells you to relax and sleep. Absolutely love it [3]

absolutely gorgeous, absolutely perfect that they gave it to ringo, but OH MY GOD the misophone in me is going to KILL whatever engineer heard all those glassy mouth sounds and wasn't like "mr. starr maybe drink some apple juice and try it again"

seriously, is there any official remix/remaster of the album where they use a de-esser on that shit and get rid of it? because if so i will paypal real money to anyone who can bring it to my attention, i don't care if it's a bricked master or clipping or whatever else, that's my new favorite pressing of this album if it's out there

Really wish Ringo got more songs, I actually really like his voice - it's a nice break from the others.

I refuse to believe this wasn't in any way an inspiration for "Farewell and Goodnight" at the end of Mellon Collie. They both serve the exact same purpose at the end of eclectic double albums.

Absolutely love the lush score on this one. One of the best album closers ever.

In and of itself, I think this song isn't unusual at all. I think some music critics suggest it is, within the context of the White album, but really, this is a pleasant lullaby song that in and of itself is presented at face value, I think. Given how many Beatles songs do have subtle extras and hidden messages, it's easy for our curious minds to want to find one, though!

I can't help but feel they were inspired by the Moody Blues' "Days of Future Passed."

Love this song but the end scares me, when I listen to it at night I feel like a Ringo is going to appear under my bed...
