Billie Davies on drums
Billie Davies was born a natural drummer. Her grand-father, Maurice Clybouw, was the first one in her life to introduce her to the drums when Billie was about three years old. She has had a love relationship with rhythm and drums ever since.
She has worked with Pol Pieter Leemans, Bert De Coninck, Claude Mazet, Steve Mowry, Lilian Jackson, Johnny Nitro with Johnny Ace, Leroy Vinegar, Gary Silva, John Handy, Joe Fuentes, Saul Kaye, Michael Godwin, Lee Elfenbein, Andre Lavelle, Steve Della Maggiora, Robert Sherman, Drew Waters, Pierre Swärd, Mark Schaeffer, John Parker, Daniel Coffeng, Manny Silvera, Jon LaTona, Larry the guitar player Marx, et al.

Oliver Steinberg bass
Oliver Steinberg received his musical training from legendary bassist Carol Kaye. Oliver has performed with Wayne Shorter, Lyle Lovett, Rickie Lee Jones, Shrimp Louis Foot Cream, Torn Ham,The Groove Merchants of Venice, HR from Bad Brains, El Duce from the Mentors and many others.

The most recent Billie Davies Trio line-up, Tom Bone Ralls- trombone, Oliver Steinberg- bass and Billie Davies- drums with Mike Davies- Recording and Sound Technology, became the best combination to record the latest album, "all about Love" released on June 06, 2012.
I would describe this music as "contemporary modal with a romantic twist" or perhaps "neo-Cool Jazz". Very much like Freddie Hubbard, Tony Williams, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Eric Dolphy & Jackie McLean but in 2012. Lyrical, good phrasing, nice rhythms but at the same time very approachable and listenable even for non jazz audiences. One could not better describe it then "Post-Cool Jazz".
