The Blind Roofers is a Dutch pop band, founded in the North of the Netherlands, Groningen.
The band mixes Americana with classic rock from the 60's-70's and combines that to a present sound.
From their website:
The Blind Roofers. What does that mean?
To understand this we must go back to the '90s. In the movie Hot Shots (1991), a war drama about a traumatized fighter pilot with, among others Oscar winner Charlie Sheen, the latter expresses the legendary words: I've fallen for you like a blind roofer. Only a poet like Sheen can express in this way that he has fallen for someone as a block, a blind roofer. Thus, the name of the band was born.
Antonie Harms: vocals/guitar
Karel Harms: keyboard
Thomas Zaw: drums
Rik Huizing: bass
