Biography
The 1985 Chicago Bears were arguably the greatest NFL team in history. Starring Walter Payton, Jim McMahon, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, and Willie Gault, they had a near-perfect 18-1 season that culminated in an incredible playoff run in which they won their first two games by shutout and defeated the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX. Following week 13 of the 1985 season, inspired by a suggestion from a friend of Willie Gault's, the Bears recorded a single to raise money to feed Chicago's neediest families, "The Super Bowl Shuffle". The single was a surprise hit, and reached #41 on the Billboard Hot 100, inspiring several derivative works from other teams, including the LA Rams' - "Ram It" and the LA Raiders' "Silver and Black Attack".
