Biography
The Chirps were a rockabilly/psychedelic band formed in Lansing, MI in the early 2000s. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Jason Metcalf, drummer Ryan Bliton, bassist Lars Jensen, and singer Chaz Brackx. Jensen was first replaced by Big Sam Johnson, and later Johnny Baird.
The band released two albums, The Chirps Sing For Children (2003) and National Pride Live (2004)
The Chirps disbanded in 2005.
