Biography
The Chosen Ones were an American hip hop duo consisting of DJ Doc and Lord Shafiyq. They released their one and only album "Enter The Lord" in 1987 on Select Records. Ivan "DJ Doc" Rodriguez was affiliated with Boogie Down Productions and is the first Hispanic/Latino producer/remixer/engineer/DJ to have a creative role in the production of early hip hop records, many of which have since become legendary classics, such as EMPD's first 5 albums, BDP's first 2 lps, Eric B. & Rakim's Paid in Full and Biz Markie's Just A Friend album.
