Biography
The Closer formed in Sydney, Australia March 2008 by Sonny Truelove, where he wrote and recorded an album. Shortly after, Sonny was joined by good friend Troels Clyde from Brisbane on drums. After releasing the album demo's in March 2008, the songs took off and sparked a lot of attention from some big names overseas in the United States. Sonny and Troels signed a management deal in Las Vegas, and moved to the US shortly after. In January 2009 the duo flew to Virginia to record with acclaimed Grammy nominated producer 'Michael Elvis Baskette'. Sonny and Troels met guitarist Caleb, and bassist Patrick shortly after the recording sessions.
