Biography

Known only to those who have gone to a PASSPORT Camp, 3 young men set out after a talent show during the camp to create their own talent show using their combined percussion skills. 2 drummers, one guitarrist…all playing percussion. Using drum sticks, bottles, makeshift drums, plastics, candies, body parts, and even more, they create unique songs. Vocals consist of yelling out words and/or rapping about various things, often on the verge of being extremely offensive to anyone with even the slightest bad sense of humor.

Starting at the PASSPORT Camp in Wingate NC during the summer of 2004, they then continued their legacy by spreading the word through the talent show and private concert the held during the summer of 2005, at the camp at Stetson University, Florida.

Known to the camp leaders as "Creative Beats Made Barely", the acronym CBMB actually stands for Community Black Man Band. Seen to be offensive in some cases, the Creative Beats name was donned in order to not offend anyone in power at the camp.

None of the 3 members are black.

None of the 3 members are racist either.
