Founded early in 2012, The Coronations have been hard at work in their haunted studio in the middle of nowhere (beware of spiders and trapdoors) to create a dazzling live set and array of songs with rich textures, lyrics from the mind of a rotten poet and foot stompin' melodies. The band is influenced by such illustrious artists as Roxy Music / Birthday Party / The Cramps / The Horrors / Echo & The Bunnymen / Pink Floyd and similarly gloomy and twisted minds in the history of music. The band consists of Tux E. Dermy on vocals and general mayhem, Tim Lane on guitars and looking bad ass, Rob the Drummer on drums and scaring the girls away and a painstakingly refined backtrack that provides additional sonic impact during the live shows.
