Psych Doom/Stoner from Ukraine
The Curse of Wendigo is an Ukrainian psychedelic stoner doom band.
They released their debut album in 2012 after one year of intensive music writing and playing.
Their music is not what one usually imagines when hearing words psychedelic stoner doom, but it's their vision of it.
They are influenced by north-american mythology, heavy blues and psychedelic movies.
The album "Eclectic Tail" contains 6 versatile songs, which form a complete picture. The lyrics references to native American mythology and instrumental parts entice the listener to a certain meditative trance. Heavy viscous riffs, psychedelic passages, hysterical and sometimes aloof vocals, short but catchy sketches on harmonica - all of this can be heard in their songs.
