Biography
David Jacques, independent singer/songwriter/instrumentalist working from a home studio in Toronto. Classically trained, studied classical guitar under Eli Kassner, composition under Omar Daniels, attended University of Toronto faculty of Music. David was born in Toronto but was adopted by a family whose father was a minister practicing in several Ontario communities. David was later united with his natural family in Toronto after adoption law changed in his province. His musical influences from a young age where baroque composers but heavy metal was the music of his youth. Artists like Beck, The White Stripes, Nirvana have since affected his music.
