Formed in 2009, Mid Michigan's THE DEVASTATOR blends classic death metal in the vein of Cannibal Corpse and Deicide with thrashy overtones reminiscent of Slayer and At the Gates. In a scene growing stagnant with inaudible tuned breakdowns and 7 string guitars used only for the bottom string THE DEVASTATOR will re-educate the masses of what true death metal is
