Biography
The Fireship are a very musically creative band with catchy, unforgettable vocals. Drawing influences from Muse, MuteMath, The Mars Volta, and Foo Fighters they have a sound that is marketable on a global scale. Having only been playing live since mid August 2009 they already are making a large impact on the Chicago scene. In just their 4th show as a band, they were chosen to play Chicago's famous Metro drawing in hundreds of fans. Also, they recently won the PacTour Battle of the Bands giving them the opportunity to share the stage with Saosin at Chicago's coveted House Of Blues and then traveling to Los Angeles, California to perform on The Daily Habit on Fuel TV. In July of 2010, the band won the Chicago portion of "Your Shot To Rock" by Cabo Wabo Tequila and are also a finalist in the Airwalk "Unsigned Hero" contest this August. With such accomplishments coming only months after their formation, you can get we will be seeing much more to come from The Fireship.
