Brief history:

The Forty Whacks are an alternative punk-rock band from Beach Park, Illinois. They originally started out as a punk cover band dubbed "The Sheridan Project" in the winter of 2009, which deteriorated into a fiery blaze after a heated battle of insults, hilarious accusations, and obvious spitting. Twenty minutes and one less ego later a dark, energetic sound emerged from the overhaul. The four members of the band share influences in hard rock, punk rock, and melodic hard core. They've played a handful of shows through out Chicago (IL), Milwaukee (WI), and Madison (WI). They're currently in the process of finishing up their first six song EP with Mr. Dan Precision at The Bombshelter Studio in Chicago, Illinois. In August of 2010 the band shot, co-wrote and co-produced their first music video for the online single "Ever Since That Day" with director J R Shah
and his Poetic Vision Films company. The Forty Whacks are guaranteed to pique their listeners
interest and entertain their growing fan-base.
