It's when they signed onto Julian Casablanca's label and had it produced by him. They tried a lot of different things on it. They used a lot of his influence and it can be heard. At first I didn't like it, but as I played it more, it grew on me. A band can make 3 albums sound the same, or they can evolve, change, and grow.
